Sarah Walker, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Sarah Walker studied Psychology and Spanish during her undergraduate experience at Creighton University in Omaha, NE, after which she obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Belmont University in Nashville, TN.
In addition to treating orthopedic conditions, Sarah specializes in treating vestibular disorders, balance conditions, and other neurologic disorders including spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. She is certified in using the Step To Connect Balance Matters Mat for use with people that have neurologic conditions as well as balance difficulties. Additionally, Sarah is certified in Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation as well as Concussion Rehabilitation which she uses to develop a personalized approach to treating vestibular dysfunction that is unique to each person and the cause of the dizziness. Sarah utilizes a whole-person approach to rehabilitation in order to ensure optimal functioning and help people in reaching and surpassing their goals. She works in conjunction with neurologists and physicians as part of the essential team for treating complex diagnoses.
Sarah also enjoys treating Spanish-speaking patients and is conversationally fluent in Spanish.
During her free time, Dr. Walker enjoys all that Colorado has to offer including camping, skiing, hiking, playing soccer and spending time with her dog, Olive.
