Monica Black, PTA, BA

Physical Therapist Assistant
PTA Specialty Certification in Orthopedics
Clinic Manager

Monica became interested in physical therapy after spending time with her grandparents and seeing how it allowed them to regain their life and live the way they wanted no matter their age or physical limitations.

Monica graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Physiology and a Certificate in Neuroscience. Her interest in physiology and her caring nature made the path to becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant an obvious choice. In May 2016, Monica graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Arapahoe Community College and became a certified PTA after passing the board exam in August.

Monica is a Colorado native and currently lives in Erie, Colorado with her dog, Maya. In her free time, she can be found hiking, paddle boarding, dancing, or sometimes just staying home curled up with a good book.
